what a difference a day makes

Saturday, November 3th

On Saturday morning, I met a very pregnant Wenmei on lower Queen Anne for cheap pedicures. After getting our toes done, we went to Ozzy's for breakfast (it's always entertaining to take a pregnant lady to a bar)

Sunday, November 4th

On Sunday morning, I went to the hospital to see Wenmei, Chris, and newborn Zachary James, who was all of 5 hours old. Wenmei's doctor warned her that the massage from the pedicure could start labor. Gee, she wasn't kidding! He was almost 4 weeks early, but at least she didn't have to look at chipped polish on her toes during delivery. Mother and baby are doing fine. Zach is 5 lbs, 7 oz and 18 inches long.
