Another day, another race
Today was the Kirkland 1/2 Marathon which Keith ran for the fourth consecutive year. We are awaiting the official results, but according to Keith's stopwatch he may have set a personal best with a run of 1 hour, 47 mins and 26 seconds. I am utterly impressed. Here's a picture of Keith early on in the race when he still had the energy to give me a "thumbs up." Notice also that the photo is blurry because he's running so fast (the blurry photo has nothing to do with my shaky hands. Honest.)!
Today is also, of course, Mother's Day. Unfortunately I can not be with my mother today since she lives in Tucson, but I'll see her soon. My parents will be back in the Pacific Northwest in just 2 weeks. We have a nice belated Mother's Day dinner planned for her when she arrives. As always, I'm looking forward to visiting with them.
Mom, I love you and miss you!!!
