Oktoberfest
Last weekend was Oktoberfest! If you can't make it to Germany to celebrate, Leavenworth is a pretty good alternative. Here's a run down of the day's highlights.
Beer hall with German Um-pa-pa band: check
Bratwurst with kraut: check
Lots of German Bier: check
Wiener schnitzel at Andreas Keller: check
The Chicken Dance song: check, check and check (yes, we heard it played three times in one day!)
Good day had by all: check

Looks like a lot more fun than the Voyager October Fest.

It's hard to get that Oktoberfest feel when you're sitting in 80 degree weather looking out at the cactus.
